Saving Electricity

Sam comes rushing into the kitchen around 8 o'clock tonight, plunging me into darkness while I am trying to clean up.

"Dad, we have to save electricity by turning the lights off!"

Big pause. "Sam, could you turn the light back on please."

"But we have to save electricity!" I am guessing that they just showed something on tv dealing with this issue.

"Well, Sam, that is great except that I am in the kitchen, and if you wanted to save electricity maybe should turn off the tv, the xbox, the wii, and the lights when you leave the basement. I think its okay to have the lights on if you are actually in the room."

"OK." Sam dissappeared into the basement.

PJ Breaks his foot!

PJ broke his foot (3rd break so far for those who are counting). This proves, once again, the danger involved in walking into a Wal-Mart while doing a goofy walk and not paying attention. The cast will only be on for ten days, however, because PJ can luckily heal his bones as quickly as he can break them.
